Synching Your i-mate™ Windows Mobile® Powered Device with your PC Using ActiveSync® and Windows Mobile® Device Center
Synchronizing your i-mate™ device with your PC is a fast and easy way to transfer information, settings, and files. Synchronization is handled with different applications for Windows Vista™ and Windows® XP or earlier, so please check which operating system your PC is running and choose the appropriate option listed below.

PCs Running Windows Vista™:
If your PC is running Windows Vista™, your synchronization settings will be managed through the Windows Mobile® Device Center.

The Windows Mobile Device Center can be downloaded from the Microsoft® web site: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx

PCs Running Windows® XP or earlier:
If your PC is running Window® XP , or earlier, your synchronization settings will be managed through Microsoft ActiveSync®. We are pleased to inform customers that an updated version of ActiveSync® is now available. The new version allows easier and more reliable connectivity to Windows Mobile® 5.0 and 2003 devices.

Daylight Saving Microsoft Update

What is it?
A software update to ensure that your calendar, appointments and the time on your i-mate mobile is updated automatically when daylight saving commences/finishes.

Who needs to install it?
All Australian and New Zealand customers using Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6.0 Software. Customers using Windows Mobile 6.1 do not need to install this update.

How do I install it?
You can install the software update by connecting your i-mate mobile to your PC via USB cable. Download the update by clicking here. Once downloaded, double click on the set up file and then follow the on screen prompts.

If you cannot connect your i-mate mobile to a PC via USB, you can download a different software update version by clicking here. You will then need to transfer this file to your i-mate mobile by either emailing it to your mobile or by copying it to an SD card then saving the file to your mobile. Once saved, tap the file and the installation process will begin.
